The privileged climatological situation of the southwest of Spain where we are located has led us to choose photovoltaic solar energy as a renewable energy source. In our feed mill in Pozo Estrecho we have installed a photovoltaic generation plant.
We have replaced the grinding equipment in Pozo Estrecho with more efficient equipment, thereby achieving a reduction in the end use energy consumed and thus reducing the CO2 emissions emitted into the atmosphere
Our policy of continuous improvement of processes, in relation to our Environmental Protection Policy, means we carry out actions aimed at promoting the energy efficiency and the use of renewable energies co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the Region of Murcia:
Determining the potential for energy saving and evaluating the opportunities to reduce the amount of energy consumed and consequently the reduction of CO2 emissions emitted into the atmosphere
With more efficient equipment, we achieve reductions in the end use energy consumed and thus reductions in the level of CO2 emissions emitted into the atmosphere
