MANUFACTURE OF FEED FOR SELF-CONSUMPTION

Feed is a crucial factor for the development of healthy animals. Due to its significance, it forms a production in itself.

We have a Premium Nutrition Programme with which we achieve maximum control over the feeding of our livestock.
We formulate specific and nutritionally adjusted feed to each of the growth and genetic stages of our animals, thus increasing the efficiency of feeding and better management of raw materials, subject to strict quality controls.
Quality is an ongoing concern and responsibility as well as ensuring food safety. For this reason, a HACCP and Good Hygiene Practices system has been implemented, which inspects raw materials with NIR technology.
By inspecting the entire process, we ensure a result that is always in line with our needs:
We have our own human and technical resources for the preparation of a feeding programme based on specific diets and adjusted to the requirements of each productive phrase, according to age and genetics, which ensure maximum efficiency and use of nutrients. The objective is to achieve the well-being of our pigs and the quality of their meat in a sustainable, economic, and environmental way.
We use natural ingredients, cereals, and legumes essentially subject to strict quality controls and always authorized suppliers.

We have two factories of our own: our historic plant located in La Murada for first-age feed. And our recently incorporated Pozo Estrecho plant, strategically located fifteen kilometres from the port of Cartagena and very close to one of our large production areas such as Campo de Cartagena.

Our own fleet of vehicles for the transport of feed guarantees us the control of this critical point and preserves the biosecurity of our farms.
